Adrian Jessen started the Review This Thing YouTube channel in 2020 after deciding that she felt like YouTube needed better reviews: reviews that would be complete - answering all possible questions, honest - sharing real-life experiences, and unbiased - not blowing smoke because of compensation or sponsorship. Her husband Robbie, an avid hunter and outdoorsman, joined in on the YouTube fun a year later and also started their website: www.reviewthisthingtv.com where you can read fun articles, more reviews, and see the latest deals. As lovers of the outdoors, they review firearms, ammunition, hunting gear, and general outdoor gear. In addition to a passion for most things outdoors, Adrian’s heart is that she can help people feel confident and comfortable about their purchasing decisions without having to waste time or money. You can also find them on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.1 Articles

A full-time freelance outdoor writer, Jace Bauserman lives in southeast Colorado with his wife Amy and three kids, Hunter, Abbey, and Brody. Bauserman has been penning outdoor articles since 2006. He has won numerous awards for his writing, and though Bauserman hunts all species of game — big and small — he is well known for his how-to, tip-and-tactic, and gear-style bowhunting articles. Bauserman is the former Bowhunting World and Archery Business magazines editor and has traveled the world chasing animals with his bow. While Bauserman is most passionate about western big-game hunting, he has an affinity for whitetails. Bauserman has published over 3,000 articles, penned a pair of books, and regularly appears on outdoor television. He credits his success to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.1 Articles

Vanessa has a deep passion for hunting and the outdoors and she loves to immerse herself in cultures around the globe. As hunting is the cornerstone of all cultures, she believes there is no better way to experience a destination. She is constantly seeking out new adventures and whether it’s climbing mountains in search of mountain goats and sheep, chasing Muskox on the tundra with her bow, or stalking elk and deer in the foothills of Alberta, she embraces it all! There is nothing quite like the adrenalin and anticipation that comes with each adventure. Vanessa is also a gear junky and is constantly searching out and testing products to assist in her pursuits. There is no need to call Vanessa a huntress. She is proud to be simply a hunter and no matter where she hunts, she is respected for her tenacity and grit. She is strong role model for all women hunters.1 Articles

I’m a freelance writer and editor who grew up outside as a naturalist. My first report in grade school was on birding. For another one, I cut out photos from my dad’s hunting and fishing magazines and wrote about the camouflage of birds, mammals and fish. I studied biology and received my terminal degree in the Field Naturalist Program at the University of Vermont. My summer hobbies include hiking, biking, gardening, and wildlife and bird watching. In winter, I like to cross-country ski and quilt, but my favorite adventure is to strap on snowshoes and track wildlife. I’ve lived in many places across North America, from New England to southeastern British Columbia, and I currently reside in Quebec.

Jim Mize writes humor and nostalgia about his escapades chasing fish with a fly rod or occasionally waving a shotgun barrel at upland birds. His stories and books have been selected for over eighty Excellence in Craft awards, including the Pinnacle award from the Professional Outdoor Media Association. His books include The Winter of Our Discount Tent, A Creek Trickles Through It, Hunting With Beanpole, and Fishing With Beanpole.
